Not too long ago I made an aerium with moss, pebbles, and tillandsias using an old oil candle glass. The opening was less than 4mm wide so I couldn't plant any succulents in this vessel. This was a fun and slightly challenging project, but I enjoyed creating it. I was thinking a lot about Golden Gate Park when I was Designing this aerium. I forgot to water it and the original air plants dried out, but I think it adds a nice touch of color to the aerium.
