Today my mom took me to the Bouquet to Art exhibit at the De Young Museum. I went to last year's exhibit and I still remember the fresh, fragrant smell throughout the museum. Every year 100 or so Bay Area floral designers draw inspiration from art in the museum and create floral arrangements. It was fairly crowded and but I'll post some of my favorites below...
My favorites of the day are the arrangements featuring mosses, tillandsias, and succulents:
There were so many creative arrangements there, it got me brainstorming new projects and now I'm excited to start gardening again. I especially enjoyed the fragrance in the air, I wish the air always smelled so fresh. Well, until next year!
